Why do you have to pay for Free on the internet public records?
Question by matthew g: Why do you have to spend for Cost-free on-line public records?
I have gone to lots of “free public records” web internet sites and they all ask for a credit card #. I cant continue my search with no one. Is there a website I can go to exactly where they do not ask for any kind of money to get a criminal record report?

the records are cost-free, but the businesses and organisations that place them on-line cannot do it for free of charge due to the fact administration and data processing of any nature fees cash.
you are paying for the service, not access to records.

Because somebody went to all the trouble of organizing them, digitizing them. The records are still free, you just have to pay for the services to retreive them online.
The records are free, but you have to understand these guys are providing a service. It’s a business. The easiest way would be to go down to the police station and request the records you’re looking for (that’s how it’s done in my little beaut of a town). They usually charge you (for the paper and ink) but it’s usually not much.
