US government department of public records contain all information in the form of data, documents, photos, videos and newsreels that have come into existence during the years the government was running.  As citizens have to disclose personal and all other information, government public records is a database pool of US citizens. It is not only their name and address, but social security number, important events in their lives like birth, marriage, deaths, driving license and also details about their becoming US citizens.

Details in US government public records department also include crime statistics, inmates’ database, court cases and rulings that may be required by people wanting to do background checks on other individuals.
