Court Records Archives

If I am curious whether or not someone has a criminal history, how can I find out what their criminal history is? Can I find their Court Records somehow?

There are NO reliable sights on the Internet to access anyone’s accurate criminal record. Any that claim they do are scams and are just sucking cash out of people to provide them links to Public Records.

OK, here is what you need:

Call your state’s State Attorney Generals Office. They can tell you the process in your state as to how to obtain an official Criminal History Report. This is the complete and official FBI’s NCIC (National Crime Information Center) that lists a persons every single adult arrest and charge disposition everywhere in the United States. These reports are not free, but it is only a very small administrative charge given to the Law Enforcement agency who runs and prints it for you.

Next, you could pay to get at least one credit bureau report from one of the big three credit bureaus. This can be use to see the persons financial history, which can tell you a lot about them. You can see prior addresses and what they owe and to whom and where.

With the above two documents, you can do your own search of public Government Records in the towns and states where they live. You can check county tax records, Clerk of Court records and local police / sheriff records just to name a few.

Or, you can contact a local Private Investigator and pay them to obtain all of this information for you. You will pay much more as they will add fee’s on to do the leg work for you.
So, do not believe any site on the net. They are just scams. Not a single one of them is tied into any official government data base as only authorized government agencies have access to this information.

And no site out there can give instant access to all of this info. It will take some of your own detective work to do it, or, as I said…. hire a P.I. Agency to assist you.

One last note….. Juvenile arrests or cases are never public record so you will not find anything on them.

I am applying for a position to be a Court Record Retrieval expert, but I’m not sure what to charge for pulling records from the Municipal and Superior courts….
what is the strandard charge ?

do you understand the term ‘independent contractor’
I dont have an EMPLOYER !
I am self employed ! duh

If you have experience in doing this procedure, you should know about how much time, and what fees are required. If you are an independent contractor, you will have to pay your taxes quarterly, and your income tax will not be withheld- Price your time, and figure the expenses, and start somewhere reasonable, then you can adjust your charges from there.

I signed a affidavit for the relinquishment of parental rights for the state of Texas. I was out of the country when i signed it and still am. The county it was probably filed in is Orange County, Texas. Their website doesn’t have a Court Records lookup. Is it possible to find out of this Affidavit was turned in to the court through the phone?

You can call the Clerk of the Court and you might find a friendly voice that will help you. Some will and some won’t. If not, just try another day. You could write them and enclose a SASE.

I need Court Records and transcripts from a federal fraud case which took place in 2003. What are my options for obtaining publicly available records?

TIA

if you are in the same area, go down and get the records yourself. there will be fees associated with the copies. depending on what you need the copies for, they may need to be certified. that usually costs more. each county determines what their own fees are. if you don’t need certified copies, some records are available online (but I don’t know where you are looking for the records). if you are out of the area, some clerks will send you the information if you pay for it ahead of time, while others require for someone to come in person and you can hire someone locally to do that.

How do i get access to public court records?

In western australia preferably.

Can anybody get access to court records? or is it a sort of lengthy process to go through to get them?

For family court, try http://www.familycourt.wa.gov.au/ and click on "File Search".

For district court, try http://www.districtcourt.wa.gov.au/ and click on "Contacts" (bottom left) and call them to ask.

Don’t know about Australia, but in the U.S. almost everything but juvenile Court Records are open to the public and most courts make it easy to get access to them.

Its for an FHA loan and I meet all criteria but have a past repo about 8 years ago. Nothing is on my credit report just in Court Records. I due still owe a significant amount like 30k.
Its not on my credit. I have a 760 score with credit monitoring. The credit companies can only list Public Records for 7 years. Its gone. I have heard that title companies will find the judgement and stop the closing until paid in full. Looks like I will either have to pay it off or save up and buy a house in cash.

The bank will not lend to someone that has an open judgment. Even if it is not showing up on your credit report, it will show up on the title search. Part of the title search is pulling anything associated with your social security number and name. At that time you will either have the opportunity to pay it or the loan will be denied.

I am trying to get Court Records of my uncle’s trial and cannot find them. Can anyone recommend a free criminal background search or court records search?

I’d start smaller and go to the clerk of court for the county wher it’s happening, not statewide

I’ve done several searches and am getting frustrated. I want to look up the trial records for the district court in Cheyenne, WY. I’d appreciate any help. Website links much appreciated!

I’d Google Laramie County Wyoming Court Records.

Below is a link to what I found.
